circulatory system bio: Circulatory System are a band led by painter / songwriter W. Cullen Hart, formerly of The Olivia Tremor Control. Their first album was released by Cloud Recordings on August 28, 2001. They did an East Coast tour in Fall 2001 with the line-up of: Will Hart (vocals, guitar, electronics); John Fernandes (clarinet, violin, bass); Peter Erchick (organ, bass, vocals); Heather McIntosh (cello, bass, vocals); Jeff Mangum (drums, vocals); and Hannah Jones (drums, percussion). In the Fall of 2002, they did a West Coast tour with Derek Almstead replacing Jeff Mangum on drums, and in the Spring of 2003 they did an East Coast tour opening for The Sea & Cake with Philip Brown sitting in for Derek Almstead on drums.
